Hosted just outside of beautiful Athens, Ohio April 19th & 20th.

Students will learn to weave willow baskets in the European style of wicker to create a round or oval basket, with the option of adding handles.

Participants will learn basketry techniques to craft a sturdy basket that will last generations and a comprehensive understanding of how to weave, propagate, harvest & prepare willow for future projects.

This weekend workshop is offered on a sliding scale of $300-600. Students are asked to consider the size of their basket when choosing their price.

Class size is limited. Registration is due by April 2nd. Spots are confirmed by paying deposit/materials fee of $200. The remainder of the class payment is due when class begins on April 19th.
