Seeds of Change are my homage to my first love with beading, seed beads. They still make my heart feel a sense of calm when I am blessed with the opportunity to sit and string them. They are named for the “seed” beads and for the deep intention I sew into each and every pair - that we may always rise above the injustices that do not serve us and cultivate positive change.

Some of these antique glass beads date back to the late 1800’s. Many of the sizes I use are no longer made, nor are the needles needed in which to string them. My love for seed beads has lead me to sitting at the foot of many a great story tellers who shared this love. The bond we formed has blessed me with being handed down collections, needles and most importantly stories. Stories of how colors got their names, where the beads were found, to whom they were traded.

These pieces are made to order. It takes me a week to complete an order. There are color options which are photographed here, but you are welcome to create a custom pair by filling out the custom orders form.
