Learn how to create custom garments with brain tanned buckskin leather by sewing yourself a buckskin side bag. Students will learn how to properly lay patterns on skins and how to sew with a leather punch and buckskin thong with a variety of stitches.

Class will be taught virtually online via Zoom. Leather sewing awls & brain tanned buckskin material are required for this class. Materials will be mailed to students once registration is confirmed. Registration is required. Students who have their own materials should check in with Talcon a week prior to class to make sure they will work for this class.

This is an all day, online class starting at 10 am and going until early evening. Students will finish at a variety of times.

Class fee is based on a sliding scale of $250-500. Students who have their own materials are welcome to use them and pay a discounted rate (email Talcon to confirm this). Everyone is encouraged to pay what they can. When students who can, pay more, the class becomes more accessible to those who cannot. Please select the class price that works with your budget.

The class space for this class is limited to five students. Youth who are good with their hands and long projects are welcome to join.

There is a $10 shipping fee for the materials. Folks who live locally may choose local pick up if they would like to skip the shipping fee.
