MidAtlantic Arts’ Central Appalachian Living Traditions and Ohio Humanities Spark Grant - 2023

Through MidAtlantic Arts’ Central Appalachian Living Traditions Folk and Traditional Arts Experience and Ohio Humanities Spark Grant, Talcon Quinn was able to work closely with Clara Haizlett to share the intimate interviews of six Appalachian Women, ranging in age 43-93 in a short documentary film titled Reclaiming: Oral Histories of Sexual and Reproductive Wellness Traditions of Appalachian Ohio. This project was also greatly supported by the United Plant Savers through guidance of their Executive Director, Susan Leopold, and was hosted at their Goldenseal Botanical Sanctuary in Rutland, Ohio.
